Hearts & Hot Chocolate

Keep your 'love' or your 'like' warm on Valentine's Day. But how do you get those cute heart shaped marshmallows to float on top of your hot chocolate? Oh it's easy! Any man who doesn't know his way around the kitchen can make these (hint hint).

Heart-shaped Marshmallows
Grease a heart-shaped petit four cutter or aspic cutter with vegetable oil or cooking spray.
Cut several marshmallows in half horizontally.
Press the cutter into the center of each one.
Float the marshmallows and the cutouts on hot chocolate.

If you want extra kisses or hugs, make the hot chocolate from scratch!

Ingredients
4 cups whole milk
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
1 teaspoon unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
4 tablespoons finely chopped or shaved semisweet chocolate
Yield: Makes 2 cups

Directions
Bring all ingredients to a simmer in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until chocolate has melted (do not let boil). Pour into mugs, and serve.

Voila! Love in a Mug.
