What Makes Love True

Tiffany & Co. have given us yet another reason to love them. This time the tables are turned as they show us the love.

Today, Tiffany launched a multimedia-rich microsite and iPhone app designed to be the “go-to resource” for romantics everywhere. "What Makes Love True" is a beautiful collection of photos, video and articles that play to the hopeless romantic in each of us. There are heartwarming stories from real-life couples, tales of romantic engagements, and playlists for romantic moments (including Eva Cassidy’s take on "At Last" and a limited number of downloads of a very sweet Joshua Radin song). And if you are not already totally loved up with the site after all those features there is also a short film by Edward Burns featuring couples in New York.

In the "Tiffany Tips” section, experts give their top 40 pieces of advice for keeping romance alive. They also list perfect places for two in the city, such as the sparkling views from the Rooftop Garden at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the quiet, columned paths in Fort Tryon Park. The site also highlights a list of romantic films that have been set in the city. My favourite feature - Couples can log on, place a heart-shaped "tack" on an interactive New York City map (Love is Everywhere), and add their initials. An elegant and interactive feature that enables all visitors to participate in a personal and emotionally resounding way.

“Tiffany has long been a major presence at engagements and weddings, and now we’ve built that presence online with love stories and a whole world of romantic possibilities,” said Caroline Naggiar, chief marketing officer of Tiffany & Co.

This is one site you will want to book in a lot of time for browsing. Thank you, Tiffany & Co., for creating such a wonderful celebration of love and romance!
